Official: Russia plans to export $15 bln worth of arms in 2016

KUBINKA, Moscow Region, Sep 7 (PRIME) -- Russian arms producers plan to export U.S. $15 billion worth of goods in 2016, Deputy Director of defense company Rosoboronexport Sergei Goreslavsky said at a forum on Wednesday.

“Like last year, we plan to sell weapons worth $13 billion. Sales will total $15 billion including (revenue of) the Federal Service for Military and Technical Partnership,” Goreslavsky said.

Rosoboronexport has sold $7 billion worth of arms so far in 2016, the official said.
